Testing Basics and Schedule

The Ft Hood Test Site is authorized to administer:

Armed Forces Classification Test -(AFCT)

Defense Language Proficiency Test – (DLPT)

Oral Proficiency Interview – (OPI)

Defense Language Battery -  (DLAB)

Selected Instrument Flight Training -  (SIFT)

English Comprehension Level – (ECL)

Basic Math and Science Test – (BMST)

GT Predictor

DLPT / AFCT / SIFT / DLAB / BMST/ ECL requires a DA Form 4187 and DOD ID for testing.  A second picture ID must be presented if in civilian attire.  This is required by regulation.

GT Predictor requires a referral from the testing section.

All Test requests must be scheduled through Ft Hood Testing Site by E-mail or by Unit Command Language Program Manager (CLPM), if applicable.

Arrive for test appointment NLT than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the testing room once the test examinees are called back.  If you arrive after this time, you will be advised to re-schedule your test. No Walk-Ins. Cellphone/smartphone access and use is prohibited during testing or at breaks during testing.
