Command Sgt. Maj. Mikeal A. McInroy

Command Sergeant Major Mikeal A. McInroy is a native of Fairfax, Oklahoma and enlisted in the Army in August of 1997.

He attended basic and advanced individual training at Fort Benning, Georgia.

CSM McInroy has served as a Rifleman, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Ranger Instructor, OC/T, Platoon Sergeant, 3rd Squadron, 89th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA, 1SG, Bravo Co. and HHC, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, Fort Riley, KS,  Operations Sergeant, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, and as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major for 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, GHOST.

His stateside assignments include Fort Riley, Kansas, Fort Polk, Louisiana, Fort Benning, Georgia, Fort Bliss, Texas, and  Fort Hood, Texas.  He has deployed to Bosnia, Kuwait, Iraq, Poland, and Lithuania for combat and peacekeeping operations.  CSM McInroy’s  military education includes Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 69), Ranger School, Bradley Master Gunner Course, Battle Staff , Airborne,  Observer Controller Academy, CDR/1SG Course, Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, and Master Resilience Trainer Course. His civilian education includes a high school diploma from Woodland High School, an Associates of Arts Accounting degree from American Military University,  and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development from the United States Army Command and General Staff College.

CSM McInroy’s awards and decoration include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit award, Valorous Unit award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forced Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal,  Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal,  Armed Forces Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development ribbon , Army Service ribbon, Overseas Service ribbon, NATO Medal, Lithuanian Service Medal, Ranger Tab, Master Gunner Badge, Airborne Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Combat Infantry Badge.

CSM McInroy is also a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy club, a member of the Order of Saint Maurice, and a knight in the order of St. George Bronze Medallion.
