Command Sgt. Maj. Holi Holi 

Command Sgt. Maj. Holi Holi is the command sergeant major at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Greely, Alaska. Command Sgt. Maj. Holi enlisted in the United States Army July 9, 1997, in American Samoa as an Infantryman and completed Infantry One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in every leadership position in the Infantry, from team leader to command sergeant major. 

CSM Holi's previous assignments; 1st Battalion, 503rd Airborne Regiment, Camp Casey, Korea; 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; 1st and 2nd Squadrons, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California; 4th Ranger Training Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia; 2nd Battalion, 96th Infantry Brigade, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER), Alaska; 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), Washington; 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment and 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas; Operations Group, Fort Irwin, California. He has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF Ill), Operation New Dawn (ONO), Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield), and Operation Allies Welcome (OAW). 


CSM Holi's military education includes the Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Course. Additional training includes the Battle Staff NCO Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Ranger School, Jungle Training, the Tactics Certification Course, and the Observer Coach/Trainer Academy (NTC). 


He holds an associate degree in criminal justice and a bachelor's degree in Leader Workforce Development (LWD) from Excelsior University.

CSM Holi is married to the former Sosefina Seui of Nuuuli, American Samoa. They have five children; Joseph, Seleisa, Motuofiafiaga, Folau, and Vaimoana and four grandchildren; Aigamau, Xyliana, Shalom, and Elaina
