Mission: The Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (Family and MWR) welcomes you to Fort Greely! We have a variety of recreational activities for Soldiers, families, and civilians right here on post. Whether you enjoy snowmachines, ATVs, bowling, arts & crafts, working on your car or even shooting trap or skeet, you can do it with Fort Greely Family and MWR. We offer top quality child care services and youth programs, rentals of almost anything at Outdoor Recreation, and if you’re hungry, try the Chinook Winds Bar and Grille at the Aurora Community Activity Center!

Auto Skills Center

Taking care of your vehicle can be a challenge with the extreme Alaskan weather.  The Automotive SkillsCenter offers facilities, equipment, technical instruction, skilled assistance, and problem-solving services to combat these issues.  We offer a self-help alternative to commercially available repair garages and patrons can reduce their automobile repair cost through hands-on participation.
