Army Traffic Safety Training Program (ATSTP)
The ATSTP is comprised of two separate, but equally important, training program :

Drivers Improvement Training : Remedial Driver Training (RDT) and Intermediate Driver Course (IDC)
Motorcycle Training : Basic Rider Course (BRC) and Advanced Rider Course (ARC)
•Classes are held at USAG Humphreys. Registration for both programs can be made by clicking HERE
• NOTE : All branches of service and DoD civilians can attend that work on an Army installation, however, Service Members have priority.

Remedial Driver Training

•The U.S. Army’s Remedial Driver's Training (RDT) has been redesigned as a more effective and efficient online course that is now accessible through AIRS, officially superseding the previous 8-hour, in-person version.

•The updated RDT is a 3-to-4-hour, interactive online course. It consists of short modules that can be completed in multiple sessions to fit any schedule and does not require a government computer. The training uses real-life scenarios covering driver attitude, distracted driving, and speeding. Users will have two attempts to pass the final test. Upon successful completion, a certificate of completion is available for immediate download.

•Click HERE to navigate the RDT. (CAC Required ONLY for AIRS Registration)

•Click HERE for instructions on how to register.

Intermediate Driver Course
This course is required and designed to provide Soldiers who are on their initial first assignment, younger than 26 years of age and with 2.5 hours of intermediate traffic safety training that reinforces the initial traffic safety training course IAW AR 385-10. This course will provide and reinforce a positive attitude toward driving, individual responsibility, correct response to routine and emergency driving situations, and sharing the road safely with other users.

Motorcycle Training
Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) courses are open with priority to Active-Duty Service Members and on a space-available basis for DOD Civilians. Click HERE to navigate online mandatory eCourse.
