In Korea, patrons allowed to purchase duty-free goods at the commissary and exchange must be authorized in accordance with USFK Instruction 1501.01 - Exchange and Commissary Privileges Access to Duty-Free Goods.
In order to use any of the duty-free facilities (Exchange, Commissary, Shoppette, etc.), each DOD ID Card holder must be properly registered with DBIDS. Contact or visit the Ration Control Office to registered.
