Carlisle Barracks Visitors Center

Unescorted visitors coming to Carlisle Barracks, who do not have a Federal government-issued identification card, will be vetted through the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification Index (NCIC-III). This is the Army's baseline background check for entrance onto Army installations for those who are 18 and over, without a CAC or Military ID. Update Jan. 8, 2025: Carlisle Barracks Community, please be aware, Ashburn Gate will be closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for former President Jimmy Carter. Please use Claremont Gate on this day. Ashburn will reopen for regular operating hours on January 10 at 6:30 a.m.

Carlisle Federal Indian Boarding School National Monument is a new national park located in Carlisle Barracks. The national monument is within the active military installation. There are no visitor services at this time. For Updates, please check:
