Camp Management Cell

The Camp Management Cell (CMC), headquartered in the Grafenwoehr Training Area, provides continuity of communication with training units' mayor cells on the ground in the U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria camp footprint. This including training grounds in both Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels.

 

CMC professionals provide facility assignment, de-confliction and unity of effort; coordinate with headquarters staffs to ensure timely delivery of quality USAG Bavaria base operating support (BASOPS) services, including troop billeting, dining facilities, equipment maintanence facilities and recreation.

 

Units traveling to USAG Bavaria camps for temporary training missions are part of U.S. Army Europe's regionally-aligned forces.

 

This community of mission-ready troops is widely considered the 5th Community to a garrison with four regionally-distinct communiites, including Garmisch, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels and Vilseck.

 

Training units temporarily stationed at USAG Bavaria training areas, including Camp Aachen, Camp Algier and Camp Kasserine, fall under operational oversight of the USAG Bavaria CMC.
