BATTALION COMMANDER
LTC Lauren Teal
LTC Lauren Teal, an Ohio native, has served in the United States Army for 17 years. She entered Active-Duty service in 2004 as a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. While at West Point, she studied Environmental Geography and Environmental Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Medical Service Corps in 2008. She also holds a Master of Military Art and Science degree from the Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Prior to joining 14th Field Hospital, 16th Hospital Center, 44th Medical Brigade, LTC Teal served as the Chief of Medical Plans within the Office of the Joint Staff Surgeon. Before her Joint Staff assignment, LTC Teal was assigned to the 62d Medical Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, in which she served as the Medical Brigade Operations Officer, Executive Officer for the 147th Field Hospital, 29th Hospital Center, and as the Medical Operations Officer for the 593d Expeditionary Sustainment Command.
LTC Teal’s additional assignments within the Medical Service Corps include Instructor at the Logistics Captain’s Career Course at the Sustainment Center of Excellence, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia; Observer-Coach / Trainer at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California; and, while assigned to 1st Brigade, 3d Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia, LTC Teal served as Commander, Charlie Company, 3d BSB; Support Operations Medical Operations Officer, 3d BSB; Brigade Medical Operations Officer, 1st Brigade; Battalion Medical Operations Officer, 1-41 Field Artillery Battalion; and Brigade Medical Supply Officer, 3d BSB. LTC Teal deployed to Afghanistan in 2012-2013 as the Commander, Charlie Company, 3d BSB, 1/3ID supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2009-2010, LTC Teal deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the transition to Operation New Dawn.
In 2024, LTC Teal completed the Battalion Pre-Command and Tactical Command Development Courses at the School for Command Preparation, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and the Army Medical Department’s Pre-Command Course at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. In 2020, she graduated the Command and General Staff Officer Course at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. LTC Teal has also completed the Joint Medical Operations Courses (Basic and Advanced), the Joint Medical Logistics Course, and the Support Operations Course.
LTC Teal is a recipient of the Order of Military Medical Merit and earned the Expert Field Medical Badge. Her individual awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and numerous Campaign and Service Medals.

MSG Kimberly R. Delcano
Master Sergeant Kimberly Rose Delcano, a native of Augusta, Georgia, enlisted into the United States Army on 30 July 2007. She completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and attended Advanced Individual Training for 68W Healthcare Specialist and Phase I of the M6 Additional Skills Identifier school (now 68C) Practical Nurse Course (PNC) at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. She completed Phase II of the PNC at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Master Sergeant Delcano’s duty assignments and positions include Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 9E Medical/Surgical Ward at Eisenhower Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia; LPN for 5B Antepartum and Gynecology (APGYN) Unit; LPN for Intensive Care Unit of Task Force Medical 10, Role II Hospital, Shindand Airbase, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; NCOIC of APGYN Unit, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii; NCOIC of 5B APGYN and Mother Baby Unit, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii; LPN for Adult Intensive Care Unit, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii; Drill Sergeant, at 1/81 Armor BN, 194th Armor BDE Fort Benning, Georgia; Senior Drill Sergeant of Warrior Training Rehabilitation Platoon, Fitness Training Unit, 30th AG BN, Fort Benning, Georgia; Chief Ward Master and First Sergeant of Task Force Medical 14, Role III Hospital Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve; Detachment Sergeant of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 14th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia and currently serves as the Chief Wardmaster and Senior Enlisted Advisor of the 14th Field Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Master Sergeant Delcano’s military education includes: Basic Leader Course (formerly WLC), Field Sanitation Team, Brigade Combat Trauma Team Course, Modern Army Combatives Levels 1, 2, and 3, Mobile Retention Training, Advanced Leader Course (CL), Drill Sergeant School, Master Fitness Trainer, Senior Leader Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Airborne School, Master Resiliency Training, Joint Forces Combat Trauma Management Course, Commander/First Sergeant Pre-Command Course, and Master Leader Course (CL). She has earned her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu. Master Sergeant is a recipient of the Noble Patron of Armor and a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit.
