If you are arriving are to Fort Stewart or HAAF after duty hours follow these steps for entry on post:
1. Inform the gate guards you are attending a ceremony
2. Show your driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance to the Guard (if you are driving a rental, you only need your driver's license and rental agreement).
3. The Guard will verify that your license is valid and will call your background check over the radio. This will only take a few minutes.
4. Once your check is complete, drive safe to welcome your Soldier home!
Note: this "quick pass" is only valid until the Visitor Control Center opens for business the next morning. If you wish to visit post the next day, please stop by the Visitor Control Center for a paper pass.
