Command Sgt. Maj. Nathan D. Mullins, 110th Aviation Brigade
Command Sgt. Maj. Nathan D. Mullins was born in Cheltenham, England, and was raised on the East Coast of the United States. He graduated Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, Virginia in 1998. He enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk Helicopter Repairer (UH-60) on August 18, 1998, and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, VA.
CSM Mullins’ previous assignments include; C Co 123rd AVIM and A Co 4-123rd Aviation Regiment as a Blackhawk mechanic at Fort Wainwright Alaska; D Co 2/227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas serving as a phase team leader, Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) Leader, Squad Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, and Platoon Sergeant; D Co and B Co 4/3 Assault Helicopter Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia serving as a Technical Inspector, Production Control NCOIC, and Platoon Sergeant; SHAPE Helicopter Flight Detachment in Chievres Belgium, serving as the Detachment Sergeant; A Co 1-25th Attack Helicopter Battalion, 25th Infantry Division at Fort Carson Colorado, serving as the First Sergeant; A TRP and HHT, 4th Squadron, 6th Heavy Attack Reconnaissance Squadron at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington serving as the First Sergeant of each Troop; The Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas serving as the Operations Sergeant Major; 1st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Riley, Kansas, serving as the Brigade Operations Sergeant Major, Ready Reserve Sergeant Major, and Acting Brigade CSM. He is coming to the Brigade previously serving as the Command Sergeant Major of the 1-52nd GSAB, 11th Arctic Aviation Command at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
CSM Mullins’ military and civilian education includes all levels of NCOPDS and is a graduate of the United States Sergeant Major Academy (USASMA) Class 69. He is also a graduate of the following military courses: First Sergeant Course, Senior Leader course (SLC), Advance Leader course (ALC), Basic Leader course (BLC), Combat Life Saver course, Unit Prevention Leaders course, Equal Opportunity Leaders course, Common Faculty Development Instructors course, Master Resiliency Trainers course, Cold Weather Survival Course, and is Air Assault qualified.

CSM Mullins is married to his wife Jamie and has a son, Nathan and a daughter, Lorraine.
