Career Counseling crestArmy Career Counselors are essential leaders who advise soldiers on career progression, retention, and opportunities within the Army, acting as a vital link between soldiers and commanders to improve force alignment and meet the Army's personnel goals. These professionals mentor soldiers, help them navigate the career counseling system, provide information on benefits, and facilitate transitions to different roles, including the Army Reserve, National Guard, and officer paths. They are recognized by the Career Counselor Badge and serve as "honest brokers" in supporting soldiers' careers and the Army's strength.
