This special event for DOD ID cardholders at Williams Stadium will feature DeeJay music; a wide selection of food vendors; and the return of Family and MWR's Kidzone attraction with inflatable slides and bounce hounces, a rock wall and more. Also returning this year is the uplifting "Salute to the Union" performance featuring live cannon fire (starting at 6 p.m.). The HideAway club 'kicks it country style' at this annual celebration that's open to the entire Team Lee community. Every Wednesday through Sept. 21, the Cardinal Golf Club hosts a golf competition in which players can sign up as singles or twosomes and get paired to make four-person teams. Outdoor Recreation is offering kayaking excursions on the Appomattox River biweekly throughout the summer. The launch point is Roslyn Landing in Colonial Heights.
