The Directorate of Emergency Services plans, directs and provides law and order, fire and emergency services, and protection operations in support of Fort Hood and III Armored Corps in order to provide a safe and secure environment for the Airmen, Soldiers, civilians and families that work, live, or visit the installations. The Directorate is made up of the Provost Marshal Office, Fire Division and Protection Division.
Provost Marshal Office
The Provost Marshal Office is a professionally trained, positive, community customer focused Army law enforcement and access control organization that is responsive to the needs of not only the commander but the civilian community. Committed to maintain good order & discipline, safety & security for all those who live and or work on Fort Hood.
Fire Division
Fire Division of DES is made up of highly skilled and professional emergency response teams capable of providing emergency medical, hazardous material, fire rescue, fire suppression and consequence management to mitigate the effects of both natural and man-made disasters.
Operations & Security Division
The Fort Hood Operations & Security Division executes force protection, anti-terrorism activities, training, and develops, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the status of the Fort Hood Protection and anti-terrorism programs.
