Command Sgt. Maj. Apryl M. Williams

Command Sergeant Major Apryl M. Williams was born in San Diego, California in 1978. She graduated from Park Center Senior High School in Minnesota in June 1997. Command Sergeant Major Williams is married to Micheal Williams and she has a daughter Veygas and two stepsons Treyden (currently a Marine stationed in HI) and Brennin. Her civilian education includes an Associate in Arts from North Hennepin Community College, Associates Degree in Intelligence Studies from Cochise College, Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security from Columbia Southern University and Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Excelsior College.

Command Sergeant Major Williams entered the United States Army on February 14, 2002. She attended basic combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She attended advanced individual training (AIT) for 91E, Dental Specialist at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. In March 2011 she attended advanced individual training at Fort Huachuca, Arizona earning the MOS of 35F, Intelligence Specialist.

Command Sergeant Major Williams’s previous assignments are as followed: 502 Dental Company, Fort Hood, Texas, Salt Lake City Recruiting Battalion, Utah, 4th Brigade 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 10th Special Forces Group and 52nd Brigade Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, Colorado, 18th Airborne CORPS, Fort Bragg, North Carolina and 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Gordon, Georgia, currently serving at 504th Military Intelligence Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. She has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan both two times.

Since joining the Army she has earned Honor Graduate at 91E Advanced Individual Training, Commandants List at Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leader Course and United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Iron NCO at Advanced Leaders Course and Senior Leaders Course, and has become a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.
