USAG Daegu Command Sgt. Major Alan J. Cline

Command Sergeant Major Alan J. Cline hails from Ashville, Ohio. His military career began at Fort Knox, Kentucky on 27 December 1994, where he attended Basic Combat Training. He then attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina as a Personnel Management Specialist, MOS 75C.  CSM Cline's previous assignments include: Personnel Management Specialist, Personnel Actions Sergeant, Promotions NCOIC, Platoon Sergeant, Replacement Operations NCOIC, United States Army Liaison Rep, Joint Awards NCOIC, Senior Human Resources Sergeant, First Sergeant, Division G1 Sergeant Major, and Battalion Command Sergeant Major.

CSM Cline's assignments include: Heidelberg Hospital, Germany, 10th Soldier Support Battalion, Fort Drum, New York, 64th Replacement Company, Rhein Mein Air Base, Germany, Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jacksonville Military Entrance Processing Station, Florida, and the Third Infantry Division Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Shape, Belgium.

CSM Cline's military training and civilian education includes: the Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, First Sergeant Course and the Sergeants Major Academy (Class 64). CSM Cline holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland, University College, and a Master's Degree in Business Management from Grantham University.
