The Administrative Services Branch is responsible for providing overall support and serving as the principle U.S. Army Garrison, Fort A.P. Hill advisor for records management and printing, publications, and forms management.
Fort A.P. Hill Army Community Services are provided by the Fort Belvoir Army Community Services office. The following programs and resources for service members their families, retirees and DoD Civilians are available, Army Emergency Relief, Army Family Action Plan, Army Family Team Building, Army Volunteer Corps, Exceptional Family Member Progam, Family Advocacy Program, Financial Readiness Program, Information, Referral and Follow-up, Military Family Life Counselor, Mobilization, Deployment & Support Stability Operations, New Parent Support Program, Relocation & Employment Readiness Program, Survivor Outreach Services.
Army Emergency Relief provides financial assistance, under Army Regulation 930-4, in the form of a non-interest bearing loan, grant, or a combination of the two to eligible Soldiers.
The Armed Forces Substance Abuse Prevention program provides education and early intervention to help commanders, civilian supervisors, and the Fort A.P. Hill community reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes. We are committed to understanding our supported units and their missions, anticipating what is needed to sustain mission readiness, and proudly serving as a valued member of the Commander’s battle staff.
Fort A.P. Hill | Fort Lee Casualty Assistance Center provides assistance to next-of-kin of critically injured, ill or deceased service members, retirees, and veterans to include benefits counseling; military funeral honors; and Casualty Assistance / Notification Officer training.
The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center is made up of a team of human resources professionals dedicated to supporting and empowering service members, civilian employees , families and veterans worldwide in an era of persistent conflict. The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center recruits, retains and sustains a high quality volunteer force through innovative and effective enterprise solutions and ensures human resources readiness of the Total Army across the full spectrum of operations.
Assist in enrollment in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, and provide Common Access Cards and Official Identification Cards to Soldiers, Family members, Retirees as well as Civilian and Contract Employees working on Fort A.P. Hill.
Directorate of Emergency Services provides force protection, law enforcement, physical security, access control, Fire and Emergency Services, and Police and Community Liaison Services to the community and provides oversight on installation law enforcement standards and initiatives for personnel, equipment and training.
Directs, coordinates, synchronizes, and integrates installation operations and training support activities, while providing force protection, mobilization and demobilization, reserve component training support, force modernization, operational planning, and emergency operations functions to provide a focused operating and training environment for the Senior Commander and tenant organizations.
The Directorate of Public Works maintains the installation's infrastructure and protects the environment. Directorate of Public Works consists of five divisions: Master Planning; Business Operations and Integration; Housing Management; Environment and Natural Resources and Engineering / Energy.

Visitors, contractors and vendors 18 years and older, entering Fort A.P. Hill, who do not have a Department of Defense identification card, will be subject to a background check before being allowed entry to the installation. Those who present a common access card, Military ID, Military Dependent ID, Gold Star ID, or other valid DoD credential won’t be affected.
The Housing Services Office is composed of three divisions: the Housing Services Office, Unaccompanied Housing and Army Residential Communities Initiative Division.
The Army Community Service Information, Referral, and Follow-Up Program provides commanders, Soldiers and families with information regarding military and civilian community resources. Our trained staff will give clients any information or assistance they may need or will refer them to the appropriate agency that can best help them.
Office of the Staff Judge Advocate Client Services are provided by Fort Belvoir.
Basic sick call Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., limited lab and pharmacy capability, no X-ray capability, warriors will be sent to Dahlgren Naval Clinic or Spotsylvania Medical Center. Fort A.P. Hill provides 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency paramedic service at 804-633-8911.

The Plans, Analysis and Integration Office team of Management and Program Analysts conducts installation strategic planning, provides information management support, and performance evaluation of base operations, essential services, and programs in support of Fort A.P. Hill Soldiers, Families, Civilians, and Retirees.
The Public Affairs Office supports the installation by communicating on behalf of the installation and its leadership - providing clear, accurate, timely information to internal and external audiences. We employ a variety of communication strategies including internal news and information products, media engagement, and public outreach.
Ready Army is the Army’s campaign to increase the resilience of the Army community and enhance the readiness of the force by informing Soldiers, their Families, Army Civilians and contractors of relevant hazards and encouraging them to Be Informed, Make A Plan, Build a Kit and Get Involved. Through outreach and education, Ready Army calls our Army community to action and aims to create a culture of preparedness that will save lives and strengthen the nation.
Fort A.P. Hill has recycling and refuse locations in various areas of the Garrison.
Fort A.P. Hill Security Office manages the Garrison‘s Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security and Security Education and Training programs.

The Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program on Fort Belvoir, delivers a world-class transition program for America’s Army that empowers members to make informed career decisions that enhances lives, communities and our nation. This program enables Soldiers to capitalize on their Army experience and skills. Soldiers make informed decisions using transition program services and re-enlistment may be a viable option. It is all about making informed decisions – setting Soldiers up for success.

Hill) who desire to maintain, frequently use, or transport a privately owned weapon on this installation must register the weapon(s) with the Provost Marshal Office within three duty days if the weapon is to be stored on post or if the owner intends to use the MWR hunting areas or ranges.
