Information for PCSing Families
Transferring to Fort Moore Schools
If you are PCS-ing to this installation, you can be assured we are doing our part in strengthening the post through excellence in education. To obtain this distinguished honor, the installation community demonstrated that it is truly one of partnership throughout. The Installation Schools are a very integral part of this partnership. Building futures in a supportive community of learners, we offer a quality education to dependents of military members from prekindergarten through eighth grade. High school students attend local county high schools.
Sponsors of students transferring to these installation schools are required to provide verification of active duty status, and proof of on-post residency before a child may be registered. Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten require a certified birth certificate before registration can be accepted.
Preschool Children ages three and four years with developmental delays, physical disabilities, or speech-language problems may be eligible for special education services. If you have concerns you may contact:
- Preschoolers: Special Education Office at 706-545-8263
- Infants and toddlers, ages 0-2: Educational and Developmental Intervention Services at 706-545-3835
If you have additional questions contact us at 706-545-6200.
Transferring from this installation's schools
If you are PCSing from our installation schools to another school district, please notify the school so that your child's records can be sent to your next duty location.
