Mrs. Angela M. Lane

Mrs. Angela M. Lane assumed her current position as deputy garrison manager at Hohenfels, Germany February 2024. Mrs. Lane serves as the garrison commander’s forward-based representative to deliver Army programs, support services and command policy.
 
Originally from Chicago, Mrs. Lane began her civil service career as a Child Development Center clerk at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. She has served at all echelons of Installation Management: garrisons, Regions (now Installation Directorates), and HQ IMCOM. Her background ranges from Resource Management to Plans and Operations to Joint Basing.
 
Serving in a variety of leadership positions throughout her career, she previously served as the Deputy Manager, Army Support Activity, Joint Base San Antonio, and was lead analyst for various IMCOM strategic initiatives: Strategic Support Area, All Things Forums, and Campaign Plans. She most recently served as a Joint Base Specialist, HQ IMCOM Joint Basing. This is the Army’s venue for all joint basing issues for Army-led and Army-supported joint bases at the Department of Defense echelon.
 
Mrs. Lane holds a Master of Business Administration - Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She has completed the Army Management Staff College Civilian Education System Intermediate and Advanced Courses, Continuing Education for Senior Leaders and the Alamo Federal Executive Board Leadership Program. She also is a certified public manager, Arizona State University.
 
Her civilian awards include Superior Civilian Service Award, Civilian Commendation Medals, and a Civilian Service Achievement Medal. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
