Angela M. Johnson

Ms. Johnson assumed her current position as deputy garrison manager at Hohenfels, Germany January 2024. Ms. Johnson serves as the garrison commander’s forward-based representative to deliver Army programs, support services and command policy.
Ms. Johnson is from Chicago. She began her civil service career as a Child Development Center clerk at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. She has served at all echelons of Installation Management: garrisons, Regions (now Installation Directorates), and HQ IMCOM. Ms. Johnson’s background ranges from Resource Management to Plans and Operations.
Ms. Johnson served in a variety of leadership positions throughout her career. She has served as the deputy garrison manager at Army Support Activity, Joint Base San Antonio and was lead analyst for various IMCOM command initiatives: Strategic Support Area, All Things Forums, and Campaign Plans. She most recently served as the joint base specialist on the HQ IMCOM Joint Base Team, the Army’s venue for all joint basing issues for Army-led or Army-supported joint bases.
Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Science in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has completed the Army Management Staff College Civilian Education System Intermediate, Advanced and the Continuing Education for Senior Leaders Courses.
Her civilian awards include Superior Civilian Service Award, Civilian Commendation Medals, and a Civilian Service Achievement Medal. Ms. Johnson is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
