White Sands Missile Range hosted Congressional Delegation Lujan (Senator-New Mexico) to gain deeper insights into the installation's strategic priorities and its significance within the state March 20. During the visit, they met with military officials, including White Sands Missile Range's Senior Commander, Col. Andrew Morgan, and other leaders, to discuss the range from past to present, future initiatives, and its role in national defense. The Congressional Delegation participated in and completed the Bataan Memorial Death March on March 21 honoring the service members who defended the Bataan peninsula in the Philippine Islands during World War II.
