August is Antiterrorism Month: Expanding Prevention and Awareness

Antiterrorism plays a critical role in safeguarding military personnel, facilities, and the broader community from terrorist threats. This August, the Army observes Antiterrorism Month with the theme of expanding terrorism prevention and awareness. The campaign targets the Army community as its primary audience, while also addressing leaders, protection planners, and antiterrorism officers responsible for implementing effective security programs.

The Army's antiterrorism efforts focus on several key areas. First, there is an ongoing review of how technology is used to support physical security programs.
