McMahon Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training Center
In Honor of Captain Jason T. McMahon awarded the silver star, three bronze stars, and two purple pearts. While under hostile fire in Laghman Province, Afghanistan, he fearlessly exposed himself to accurate enemy small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades. Completely exposed to enemy fire and with disregard to his personal safety, he sacrificed his shelter ensuring his soldiers were able to fully utilize the limited available cover.

MISSION
The U.S. Army McMahon Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training Center is located on Fort Walker, Virginia. A branch of the U.S. Army's Ordnance School, McMahon trains soldiers and members of other services on EOD skills.

Tactical and Technical Exploitation Course:
Train students on current operational intelligence and situational reports for applicable theaters, new information relating to tools and equipment, U.S. and Foreign Ordnance, Improvised Explosive Devices, battlefield exploitation of explosive based items, and the latest developments within the EOD Community. Various classes are conducted by external sources that represent a variety of Intelligence Agencies, EOD Technical Centers, and Subject Matter Experts (Technicians) in both classroom and field environments.

Advanced Leaders Course (ALC):
Train students on EOD Team Leader duties/responsibilities during Explosive Ordnance Disposal incident response to Conventional, Chemical / Biological incidents to include Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), conduct team administrative/logistic integration in a direct support role, and utilizing the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) system.
