Fort A.P. Hill Family and MWR will reopen some of its facilities on Wednesday, July 1 with new procedures in place to protect our customers and staff.
DEERS / ID CARD OFFICE - DEERS ID Card services are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. by appointment only, no walk-ins accepted. Customers must answer Centers for Disease Control questions as part of their appointment. Call 804-633-8797 with questions.

AMBROSE FITNESS CENTER – Ambrose Fitness Center will be open by appointment only for Military and Fort A.P. Hill Directorate of Emergency Services personnel. The facility will operate under new hours of Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations will be accepted by calling (804) 633-8219; 24 hours in advance Monday through Friday. Please call on Friday for Monday reservations. Participants should be prepared to answer a series of questions when making their reservation to insure the highest level of health and safety for all parties. Priority will be given to Regular Army and Reserve personnel.
Garrison Emergency Personnel with a physical fitness requirement may use the facility as space permits. The facility will allow 10 patrons at a time to work out in 1 ½ hour blocks, at the following start times: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m.
At the end of each block, staff will perform a deep clean for 30 minutes before the next group of patrons are permitted to enter.
All patrons must wear a mask to enter the building, and it is recommended that masks be worn during workouts. Social distancing of 6-feet must be maintained. No group exercise will be permitted at this time, to include basketball and volleyball.
Resale operations within Ambrose Fitness Center will remain closed, as will Wilcox Fitness Center. MWR would like to encourage all patrons to participate in outdoor fitness as much as possible. The track near Beaverdam Pond and nature trails are open and available for use.

RECREATIONAL LODGING – Recreational Lodging will reopen with virtual customer support. Please call (804) 633-8244 or (804) 633-8335 to make reservations. You will pay by credit card over the phone. All related documents will be sent electronically. Patrons should be prepared to answer a series of questions prior to their arrival to insure the highest level of health and safety for all parties.
Keys will be provided via lock boxes that will be sanitized between each use. Linens will be available for rent, or customers may bring their own.
NOTE: Housekeeping services will not be provided during stays. Deep cleaning and sanitization will take place between stays.

CHAMP’S CAMP RV PARK – Champ’s Camp RV Park will reopen virtual customer support. Please call (804) 633-8244 or (804) 633-8335 to make reservations. You will be paying by credit card over the phone. All related documents will be sent electronically.
Patrons should be prepared to answer a series of questions prior to their arrival to insure the highest level of health and safety for all parties. Social distancing of six-feet must be maintained between customers not staying in the same campsite. Sanitization will take place between reservations.
NOTE: The RV Service Center will remain closed at this time.
