Mission Statement:
To guarantee the Fort Walker Community a safe working and living environment, by providing our customers the most proficient fire suppression, emergency medical, technical rescue, hazardous materials intervention and fire prevention services to them. The Fire and Emergency Services will at all times maintain the ability to respond to our customers emergencies, protecting their life and property.
It is the mission of the Fire and Emergency Services of the Directorate of Emergency Services to protect and enhance the quality of life for every Soldier, civilian and family member living, working and training on Fort Walker and to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the community through code enforcement, loss prevention and effective fire prevention and public education programs.
Fire and Emergency Services employs highly skilled and professional emergency response teams capable of providing emergency medical, hazardous material, fire rescue, fire suppression and consequence management to mitigate the effects of both natural and man-made disasters.
