Rebecca Myers lead a town hall to make Soldiers and Families aware of holiday happenings this year, and featured spokespeople from Army Community Services, Religious Support Operations, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Directorate of Emergency Services.

Town Hall highlights holiday events

Fort Stewart Garrison Commander Col. Bryan Logan and Senior Enlisted Advisor Command Sgt. Maj. Rebecca Myers lead a town hall to make Soldiers and Families aware of holiday happenings this year, and featured spokespeople from Army Community Services, Religious Support Operations, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Directorate of Emergency Services.
A spokesperson from ACS addressed the Marne Holiday Toy Drive going on through Dec. 4, which provides toys for children of Soldiers. Volunteers or those interested in donating can contact ACS on Fort Stewart at 767-5058 or on Hunter at 315-6816.
A representative from Religious Services discussed Operation Christmas Child, the Holiday Commissary Gift Card Program, Greening of the Chapel and upcoming holiday services, which can all be found on the Religious Support Operations page at home.army.mil/stewart.
The DFMWR spokesperson discussed various holiday events on post; to include Rocky’s Mushroom 5K Rally Nov. 21, holiday bashes the weekend following Thanksgiving, a golf scramble slated for Nov. 20 and the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 2 on Fort Stewart and Dec. 4 on Hunter Army Airfield.
