All Marne personnel to wear masks in workplace
The 3rd Infantry Division Commanding General Maj. Gen. Tony Aguto has directed that all personnel on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield will wear face coverings or masks when inside on-post, public and facilities.
The wear of face masks are not required inside individual work spaces if 6 feet of social distancing can be maintained.
Brigade-level commanders may grant exceptions for the buildings and facilities under their control when wearing face coverings or masks is impractical - when eating; provides no discernible medical benefit - a person working alone in their office or behind closed doors;  or when it  is contrary to mission requirements.
Civilian employees may request an exemption to this requirement through their immediate supervisor, which will then be reviewed by Garrison Commander Col. Bryan Logan.
This includes all government facilities that are not private residences, such as housing or barracks rooms.
