Ms. Johnson is a 32 year career civilian employee. Ms. Johnson began her civil service career as a Child Development Center Clerk at Fort Sheridan, Il. She has served at all echelons of Installation Management: garrisons, Regions (now Installation Directorates), and HQ IMCOM. Ms. Johnson’s background ranges from Resource Management to Plans and Operations. She served and the IMCOM Europe Manpower Chief from 2009 to 2014. Ms. Johnson worked a variety of assignments in HQ IMCOM G-3/5/7. She volunteered to be a member of the IMCOM Soldier and Family Housing Crisis Action Team and the Telework Policy Team. She was also the alternate IMCOM Mobilization Specialist for Camp Atterberry. Ms. Johnson has been the lead analyst for various command initiatives: Strategic Support Area, All Things Forums, and Campaign Plans. In August of 2020, Ms. Johnson was assigned to the HQ IMCOM Joint Base Team, the Army’s venue for all joint basing issues for Army led or supported joint bases. In this position, Ms. Johnson has established and maintained relationships across all Services and the at the Secretary of Defense level. She has been instrumental in resolving joint base issues that face the Army. Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelors of Science, Business Administration degree and a Masters, Public Administration degree.
