Book Review - 'Death of the Wehrmacht'

When I started this book, I realized it was the first book exclusively on World War II I have reviewed. This has not been an intentional exclusion. I have read dozens of books on World War II, it’s just that out of the largest CSA reading list ever, it actually has a relatively low number of books dedicated to this war.

Beaudette inducted into Distinguished Members of Ops Group

Before Lt. Gen. Francis Beaudette became the commander of U.S. Army Special Operations Command in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he served in many other positions and units. Among his first assignments was a stint with the Joint Readiness Training Center Operations Group from 1993-1994, and it is that connection that has placed him among the ranks of the Distinguished Members of Operations Group, or DMOG.

115th CSH converts to 32nd Hospital Center

U.S. Army Garrison Soldiers assigned to Fort Polk changed their unit patches from Installation Management Command to Army Materiel Command in a ceremony held March 8 outside of the Fort Polk Headquarters at bldg 350. IMCOM was formally acknowledged as a major subordinate command of AMC the same day at an assumption of authority ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
