Command Sergeant Major Jeremy T. Compton

Command Sergeant Major Compton was born in Washington D.C on 30 April 1978. He graduated from Maries County R2 School District in Belle, MO. He enlisted into the U.S Army 28 January 1998 and attended One Station Unit Training with B Battery 1st BN, 79th FA Regiment at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, as a 13B Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember. In 2001 he attended AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and awarded the MOS of 62E, Heavy Construction Equipment Operator.

Command Sergeant Major Compton has served in numerous leadership positions as an Ammunition Team Chief, Training NCO, Team Leader, Instructor, Section Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, DOTLD EN SGM, Division Engineer SGM, Command Sergeant Major, and Army Service Component Command (ASCC) Engineer SGM. His deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) 2003-2004, OIF 2005-2006, OIF/OND 2010-2011, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) 2012-2013, and Operation United Assistance (OUA) in Liberia 2014.

Command Sergeant Major Compton's Military and Civilian education include: Combat Lifesaver Course,  Air Assault School, Warrior Leader Course, Advance Leader Course, Instructor Trainer Course, Senior Leader Course, Drill Sergeant School, Commanders and First Sergeant Course, Joint Engineer Operations Course, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He is currently pursuing his BA in Construction Management with Park University.

Command Sergeant Major Compton is married to former Jeanie Michels and has five children, Madison, Nicholas, Cameron, Katelynn, and Cadence.
