Deputy Garrison Commander
Richard E. Bain was born in Busan, Republic of Korea (ROK) and is a resident of Madison, Alabama. He attended basic training at Fort Lewis, Washington; advanced individual training at Fort Gordon, Georgia; and was assigned to 592nd Signal Company as part of the Berlin Brigade in Germany. He attended Western Illinois University and University of Illinois dual degree BS program in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering. He received a MBA in Financial Management from John F Kennedy Orinda, California.
He started serving as a Department of Defense Engineer with the U.S. Navy at Alameda NAS, California in 1989.
