CW5 Don Chambers, Command Chief Warrant Officer, 128th Aviation Brigade
Chief Warrant Officer 5 Don Chambers graduated and commissioned from the Fort Rucker, Alabama, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence Warrant Officer Career College in December 2004. He attended the Warrant Officer Aviation Maintenance Manager Course, Aviation Life Support Equipment, Intermediate Level Education, and Senior Staff Course at Fort Rucker and the Armament Maintenance Technician, Aviation Maintenance Technician Basic and Advanced Courses at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Chambers assignments include armament platoon leader in D Co., 160th SOAR (A), Savannah, Georgia. His other assignments include D Co., 2-227th AVN Bn, Fort Hood, Texas, as the technical supply OIC and D Co., 3-227th AVN Bn as the shops platoon leader. He was assigned to D Co., 3-160th SOAR (A) in Savannah, Georgia, as the quality control, avionics line shop, allied shops platoon leaders, and served as the battalion aviation life support officer. Chambers was assigned to E Co., 2-160th SOAR (A) and served one of the original plank holder for the regiment’s first company of medium-altitude, long-endurance Gray Eagles, fulfilling positions as lead logistics and readiness officer for ground and aviation support equipment. Chambers served as the Headquarters, 3rd Infantry Division and U.S. Army Pacific Command G4 senior materiel readiness and multifunctional logistician.
Chambers has served in over dozen combat operations including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Chambers is completing his Master of Science in aviation maintenance through Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University and currently holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice - homeland security 2014.
