Lt. Col. Aris Comeaux, Commander, 2-210th Aviation Regiment
Lt. Col. Aris Comeaux is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was selected to attend the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, where he commissioned in 2003 into the Aviation branch.
Lt. Col. Comeaux has served in a variety of command and leadership positions, including: Platoon Leader, S-4, and Troop Commander, 6th Squadron, 17th US Cavalry, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Aviation Basic Officer Leadership Course Small Group Leader, Fort Novosel, Alabama; Mathematics Instructor, West Point, New York; Brigade Aviation Officer, 210th Field Artillery, Camp Casey, Korea; Executive Officer, 209th Aviation Support Battalion, and G-3 Aviation Chief, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and Inspector General, Headquarters, Department of the Army, Washington D.C.
Lt. Col. Comeaux’s military education includes Aviation Officer Basic, OH-58D Aircraft Qualification Course, Aviation Captain’s Career Course, Aviation Maintenance Officer Course, Command and General Staff College, and UH-60 Aircraft Qualification Course. His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from West Point and a Masters in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Lt. Col. Comeaux’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Badge, the Air Assault Badge, Ranger Tab, and the Senior Army Aviator Badge. He is also a recipient of the Honorable Order of Saint Michael (Bronze Award).
Lt. Col. Comeaux is married to Faith Comeaux (Kapperman); they have seven children: Jirah, Esiah, Jaden, Shilo, Asaph, Zadok, and Kekoa.
