SERE-C School Attendance
The U.S. Army SERE-C School welcomes you and offers a unique training experience. The SERE Cadre are dedicated and strive to produce a training experience unlike any other course. All necessary course instructions and required documents are imbedded in this page. Please do not send extra memoranda or documents that are not listed. If we need anything more than what is listed, we will make sure to let you know. Please know that there is no cost to the unit for this course, other than transportation to and from the school. All meals & lodging, of some sort, are provided while students are here.
Complete packets are due to us NLT 45 days prior to the requested course start date. SERE physical examinations are valid for two years from the Date of Examination (Block 1 of the DD 2808). In certain instances, we'll accept late packet submissions to fill classes. If packets are unable to get submitted by the 45-day deadline, students MUST reach out to the schoolhouse to give us a heads up and to arrange a late submission. Early packet submissions are perfectly acceptable; however, the ACFT must be within 90 days of the requested course start date.
An ATRRS reservation is required, but please call to coordinate for a student if you are having issues with obtaining one. In MOST cases, we are able to assist with getting an ATRRS reservation.
There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy in place for missing items and gear. It is critical that units disseminate this information to all students planning on attending the course. There will be no exceptions given by the SERE command. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding any policy change.
All SERE classes will report on a SATURDAY and will also graduate on a SATURDAY. Please ensure that travel arrangements are made accordingly. You will report to Yano Hall (BLDG 6005) @ 1000 on DAY ZERO.

Completed packets include the following:
- SERE Requirements Memorandum (either PDF or Word - unaltered and with all information completed)
- DD Form 93 (Record of Emergency Data)
- SGLI (Servicemember's Group Life Insurance) or service equivalent
- Personnel Recovery 102 Certificate
- SERE Physical IAW AR 40-501 to include:
- DD Form 2807-1 (follow template)
- DD Form 2808 (follow template)
- Copy of EKG
- Medical Readiness Printout
