Lyster Army Health Clinic
Lyster employs about 300 staff members made up of Soldiers, civilians and contractors. The busiest section of the clinic is the pharmacy, which fills nearly 30,000 prescriptions per month.
Lyster has embraced the Patient-Centered Medical Home model throughout the clinic and recently consolidated its active duty flight status Soldiers into one clinic for better continuity of care. Lyster has 14 clinics (including three primary care teams) on the first floor and loans the second floor space to the Wiregrass VA. Patients needing specialty care, such as surgeries, or consultations not provided within the clinics, are referred to the surrounding network.
