The AMCOM Combined Logistics Command (ACLC) provides the delivery of safe and reliable materiel readiness to five unique Army training bases to sustain the capacity necessary to generate the Army’s future force.
ACLC Was originally the Aircraft Logistics Management Division (ALMD), a staff agency of the Directorate of Logistics at Fort Novosel. In February 2002, the organization was transferred to the Aviation Training Brigade and a pilot program between the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and the U.S. Army Material Command (AMC).
This transition prioritized two objectives: 1) Enable TRADOC to focus on training Soldiers while leveraging the expertise of AMC to improve the training fleet’s readiness; and 2) Complete maintenance functions within projected costs to reduce negative impacts to student training that have been hindered by past non-availability of equipment.
In February 2003, ALMD was placed under the operational control of the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and became the Aviation Center Logistics Command. In August 2004, ACLC was formally activated as a provisional command under AMCOM. In 2006, the Fleet Management Initiative was approved and transitioned to Field Maintenance Expansion (FMX). In 2018, the ACLC’s FMX responsibilities were expanded to include artillery and air defense artillery systems at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. In August 2023, the Aviation Center Logistics Command was redesignated as the AMCOM Combined Logistics Command to incorporate all the support proponent branches and was reflagged during the 20-year anniversary in August 2024.
ACLC is a professional organization with a presence at following five locations.
