The Order of Daedalians present two annual awards to recognize safe flying practices and exceptional Aviators:
The Brigadier General Carl I. Hutton Memorial Award is presented to a major command that has demonstrated outstanding professionalism and made invaluable contributions to the advancement of flight safety in Army Aviation.
The Exceptional Pilot Award recognizes acts of valor as an Aviator, outstanding performance in mission accomplishment or an extraordinary leadership display in support of air operations.
