The Fort Novosel Religious Support Office offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of Soldiers and Family Members. These include worship services, religious education, prayer gatherings, fellowship times, Bible and religious book studies and counseling services.
Fort Novosel Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation supports readiness and retention by providing Family and community support programs, which enhance quality of life for the Fort Novosel Army Family.
The mission of the Directorate of Human Resources is to provide human resource support and services providing a quality of life for Soldiers, Family Members and Civilians commensurate with their service. Overarching programs include - Military Personnel, Casualty Assistance, Continuing Education, Substance Abuse Prevention, Administrative Services and Workforce Development.
Directs, coordinates, synchronizes, and integrates installation operations and training support activities, while providing force protection, mobilization and demobilization, reserve component training support, force modernization, operational planning, and emergency operations functions to provide a focused operating and training environment for the Senior Commander and tenant organizations.
The Directorate of Public Safety conducts law enforcement and force protection operations, fire emergency response, and crash rescue support on Fort Novosel.
The Directorate of Public Works provides facilities engineering services, real property accountability, comprehensive environmental management, and oversight of utility systems with emphasis on useful energy efficiencies.
The Equal Employment Opportunity program formulates, directs, and sustains a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential to ensure fair treatment for military personnel, family members, and civilians without regard to race, color, gender, religion, or national origin, and provide an environment free of unlawful discrimination and offensive behavior.
The Garrison Resource Management Office oversees resource allocations for all base support activities including budget formulation, control and execution, accounting policy, funding of manpower resources, managing garrison equipment levels, developing installation support agreements, and monitoring the Government Travel Card Program.
The Garrison Safety Office provides technical advice to the garrison commander and staff on the integration of safety and risk management into all missions and functions within the command.
The Internal Review and Audit Compliance Office is the commander’s professional audit capability. IRAC internally audits the installation and tenant organizations to identify, analyze, and resolve known or suspected problems.
The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate is committed to provide legal advice and services to the Command, staff, and subordinate elements.
The Plans, Analysis and Integration Office provides organizational and performance management reviews and executes the short-term and long-range planning for U.S. Army Garrison Fort Novosel.
The Fort Novosel Public Affairs responds to media queries, reviews manuscripts, conducts press conferences and produces news releases, public service announcements and media advisories. PAO professionals escort media and assist with the dissemination of information to Soldiers and Families on post and to people living in the Wiregrass region.
