What is Family Readiness?
Family Readiness is a lifestyle for Soldiers and their Families. Family Readiness assists you in being proactive, instead of reactive, to the challenges of military life. It ensures you are prepared to handle whatever challenges come your way.
- Relocation challenges (moving overseas, duty move vs. Army move, local school information)
- Natural disasters (hurricanes/tornados)
- Separation challenges (temporary duty training assignments, deployments, field exercises)
- Family challenges (stress, parenting, well-being - both emotional and physical)
Our goal at Fort Novosel is to assist our Soldiers and their Families everyday by equipping, educating and empowering them with the tools to be "ready."
