Mission

The Operational and International Law section is responsible for providing legal support to the XVIII Airborne Corps staff concerning the Rules of Engagement, kinetic and non-kinetic targeting, and the legal aspects of current and future operational planning. The section further provides advice on the Law of Armed Conflict, command and control, operational authorities, international agreements, Status of Forces Agreements, Defense Support of Civil Authorities, and detention operation as well as provides legal reviews of operational plans, contingency operations, and operations orders.
