The areas for today's Prescribed Burn are subject to change or to be canceled due to weather and/or training circumstances. Fire Management personnel have determined that weather conditions are favorable to conduct prescribed burning in the selected areas. Areas have also been selected to regulate smoke based on anticipated dispersal patterns and proximity to sensitive receptors (e.g. populated areas, airports, roads). Lastly, areas have been coordinated with appropriate stakeholders to include Range Control to ensure mission impacts are mitigated.
