Master Planning Division is coordinates with higher headquarters, Fort Liberty senior leaders, and key stakeholders to develop and update short, medium, and long-range infrastructure strategic plans for Fort Liberty. Master Planning is tasked with ensuring Fort Liberty’s Military Construction Program, real property inventory and real estate agreements align with Army senior leader priorities as well as future and current operational readiness requirements. These functions safeguard the integrity of real property data and ensures proper sustainment funding for the Garrison is allocated. Additionally, MPD executes:

 

  • Proper land use/zoning
  • Siting of new real property assets and infrastructure considering future growth and operational needs
  • Proper space utilization, management, and assignment of real property assets
  • Land acquisition
  • Demolition of real property assets
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Community Planning
  • Military Construction and Unspecified Minor Military Construction Programs
