406th AFSBn-Liberty provides the customers of Fort Liberty with sustainable full-spectrum logistics in the areas of Transportation, Maintenance, Plans and operations, and Supply and Services.

406th AFSBn-Liberty's Divisions IncludePlans & Operations Division | (910) 396-1156
The Plans and Operations Division works closely with all AFSBn-Liberty customers, both internal and external, to develop, plan, and communicate synchronized and integrated processes to properly identify, forecast and implement the support necessary for the successful execution of all AFSBn-Liberty's missions. The division is responsible for Support Operations, Strategic Planning, the AFSBn-Liberty Environmental, Safety and Security Programs, budget and contracting as well as the management of the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC) and a Port Liaison activity.

Material Maintenance | (910) 396-1702
The Materiel Maintenance Division (MMD) provides ground maintenance support to sustain the readiness of the Warfighter’s systems while supporting ARFORGEN. The MMD provides sustainment level maintenance for tactical vehicles and is responsible for Field RESET (reconstitution), Left Behind Equipment (LBE) and Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PTDE) support and container repair. The division also manages the Tritium Facility, Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP), Paint Shop and Cannibalization Point, and Special Purpose maintenance for the Air Force (K-loaders, De-Icers).

The Supply and Services Division includes the Ammunition Supply Point, Installation Supply Support Activity, Consolidated Installation Property Book Office, Central Issue Facility, Subsistence Supply Management Office, Food Services (Dining Facility Management, Dining Facility Attendants, Full Food Services, Dining Facility Equipment Repair), Hazardous Material Control Center, BSC, Laundry and Dry Cleaning, Ground Fuel, Central Receiving Point and other supply and service functions for Fort Liberty and AR 5-9 units of the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve.

Installation Transportation Office | (910) 396-1156
The Installation Transportation Office (ITO) of the AFSBn-Liberty provides efficient, responsive, and quality transportation services Traffic Management and Unit Movement consists of the following work centers: Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO), Personnel Movements (Port Call, Group Moves, Commercial Billing Accounts), Unit Moves, Movement Control Center (MCC), Installation Transportation Deployment Support Area (ITDSA)/Track Vehicle Assembly Area (TVAA), Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) Storage, Freight-Outbound, Regional Container Management), Arrival/ Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG), Traffic Management Center (TMC)-Official Travel, Rail Support Activity (RSA), Rail Operations provided by Cape Fear (CF) Railways; and the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) within the assigned geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (100 counties within North Carolina and 15 within Virginia) and ensures compliance with governing laws, directives, and regulations. Our customers include the Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, Reserves, National Guard, Family Members, Wounded Warriors, Department of Defense (DOD) civilians, DOD contractors, and industry partners.
