CHILD & YOUTH SERVICES
JBLM Child & Youth Services programs are designed to foster and develop children's physical, intellectual and socio-emotional capabilities. The goal of the quality child and youth development options is to reduce the conflict between parental responsibilities and unit mission requirements. All services are available to service members and family members at JBLM.
SPORTS, FITNESS & AQUATICS
JBLM Family and MWR offers a variety of sports and recreation programs and facilities. Five-star fitness and sports centers make military members and their families truly "fit for freedom" and for life. Fitness classes, cardio workout rooms, pools, saunas, courts and intramural sports are free for eligible members.
BOWLING CENTERS
Bowling is fun for everyone in state-of-the-art family centers. Leagues, family nights, special events, a tasty grill or snack bar and fully-stocked pro shops make bowlers want to come back.
DINING & ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS
Family and MWR offers a variety of dining options on JBLM to include Habañero Mexican Grill, the Strike Zone snack bars in the bowling alleys and Battle Bean Coffees (McChord Field and Stone Education Center). Family and MWR operates the American Lake Conference Center and the McChord Club, which can be rented out for military events, weddings, birthday parties and more.
GOLF COURSES
Family and MWR operates two golf courses: Whispering Firs and Eagles Pride. Eagles Pride is a 27-hole golf course and is open to the public right off of the freeway.

ARTS & CRAFTS
The JBLM Arts & Crafts Center on McChord Field has custom framing, engraving, framing classes, gifts & more. Looking for professional quality, best pricing and fastest turn-around? BOSS
Better Opportunities for Single Service Members is a program that supports the overall quality of single service members’ lives. BOSS identifies well-being issues and concerns by recommending improvements through the chain-of-command. BOSS also encourages and assists single service members in identifying and planning for recreational and leisure activities. Additionally, it gives single service members the opportunity to participate in and contribute to their respective communities.
HOME-BASED BUSINESSES
