The MEOA ensures that commanders/senior responsible officials are equipped with the proper tools in their units to sustain a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and ensure fair treatment for all persons based solely on merit, performance and potential in support of readiness.

The objective of the Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) program is to ensure fair and equal treatment without regard to race, color, sex (to include gender identity and pregnancy), religion, national origin or sexual orientation, and maintain an environment free of sexual harassment that fosters fitness, cohesion and promotes military readiness through the maximum development and utilization of human relations training.

We provide MEO training and assist the command on all matters concerning MEO for Soldiers (including DEP), cadets and family members.

We also coordinate MEO annual observances and events for the installation.
