Welcome to the New Parent Support Program (NPSP). This dynamic group of nurses are ready to be the first to welcome you to parenthood. Their energetic program is designed for expecting parents and children through the age of three. Nurses will help you enhance the bond between parent and child, while having fun. Parenting is the most rewarding experience, however, it can present challenges at times. NPSP utilizes their unique ability to help parents acquire new skills, minimize parent-related stress, increase parenting bonds and explore creative ways to meet challenges of modern parenting. NPSP nurses are available by office visits or home visits, wherever you are most comfortable. Common topics NPSP can assist with include potty training, sibling adjustment, developmental milestones, breastfeeding and more.
In the Vicenza Military Community (USAG- Italy) a unique feature of the NPSP program is our Baby Cafe`. This baby- friendly room provides our community a great place for families to connect with our nurses and to meet new friends. Our Café offers a wide range of supportive features such as safe place to feed baby, changing table, age- appropriate toys, and an opportunity to speak with lactation counselors.
Our trained staff have extensive knowledge and are excited about meeting you. Check out our schedule to see the amazing opportunities that await you and your family.
