Mission

Provides engineering and architect design services; performs construction management for sustainment, restoration, modernization and minor construction projects. Provides energy and water management to meet established utility use intensity reduction goals.

Design Branch

Prepares design packages for annual work plan projects (AWP) and submits to 414th Regional Contract Office (RCO) for contract award.
Performs engineering and architect services to include engineering studies and project designs to include construction contract modifications.
Performs technical reviews and evaluations for designs.
Prepares requirements packages for construction contracts.
Works closely with contracting offices for successful award of contracts.
Performs engineering reviews and liaison on projects executed by AAFES, NAVFAC, and USACE.
 

Construction Management Branch

Performs DPW Contracting Officer Representative (COR) functions for all Engineering Division projects.
Performs inspection of contract work during construction and at completion for compliance with plans and specifications.
Verifies construction contractor’s progress reports and coordinates contractor payments with the contracting office.
Assists the contracting office in settlement of contractor performance issues.
Provides construction liaison support services for AAFES, NAVFAC and USACE executed projects.

 

Energy Management

Performs design reviews to improve the energy design and compliance with UFCs, energy regulations, and Host Nation energy codes.
Develop and submit energy projects for available alternative funding.
Manage the Installation Energy and Water Program (IWEP).
Manage the Army Energy and Water Reporting System (AEWRS).
