Command Sergeant Major Brian D. Haydt was born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. He entered the United States Army in January 1995 and attended one-station unit training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, where he graduated as a 19K, Armor Crewman. CSM Haydt served in leadership positions from Tank Commander to Command Sergeant Major. CSM Haydt’s previous deployments include Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the Implementation Force, Operation Desert Spring in Kuwait, Operation Iraqi Freedom I, III, and V-VII, Operation Enduring Freedom IX, Operation Joint Guardian in Kosovo, Operation Spartan Shield in Kuwait.
His military education includes all four levels of the NCO Education System, M1A1 Tank Master Gunner Course, Air Assault School, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Liberal Arts Degree from Excelsior University and an Associate’s Degree in Business from Barstow College.
