Traffic Signal Timing Pilot Program – Wilikina Drive & McCornack Road Intersection

Please be advised that from 1430, July 29, 2025, through 1830, August 11, 2025, the traffic signal at the intersection of Wilikina Drive and McCornack Road (adjacent to the McNair Access Control Point) will undergo a temporary timing adjustment as part of a County of Honolulu pilot program to improve regional traffic flow.

What to Expect:

• Left-turn signal time from McCornack onto Wilikina will be reduced from 50 to 30 seconds.
• Pilot program operational hours: 1430–1830 daily.
• Traffic congestion and delays are anticipated, especially during peak hours.

Recommended Actions:

• Consider alternate exit routes, including the Macomb Gate, which is open for outbound traffic 1600–1800, Monday–Friday.
• Allow for additional commute time during the pilot program window.
