CPT Avery A. Palomino
CPT Avery Palomino was born and raised in Southlake, Texas and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2018.
CPT Palomino was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer and completed Field Artillery Basic Officer Leaders Course in 2019. Upon graduation, she was assigned to Alpha Battery, 4-1 Field Artillery Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, at Fort Bliss, Texas. From 2019 to 2022 she served as a Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Leader, Adjutant, and Battalion S1 Officer in Charge (OIC). She completed one National Training Center rotation and one rotation to the Republic of South Korea.
In 2022, CPT Palomino transitioned to the Adjutant General (AG) Corps and completed AG Captain’s Career Course. Following graduation, she was assigned to the 209th Aviation Support Battalion (ASB), 25th Combat Aviation Brigade as the Battalion S1 OIC. CPT Palomino supported multiple real-world humanitarian missions throughout her time in the 209th ASB. In 2024, she participated in Ksatria Warrior and Super Garuda Shield as a part of Pacific Pathways in Indonesia.
Her awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon.
CPT Palomino graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography in 2018.
CPT Palomino is dual military and married to CPT Sebastian Palomino. They have a cat named Chicken and a dog named Waffles.
